After wining his first Wimbledon match in main draw against Radek Stepanek 6:4 in the 5th, Aljaž lost in the second round against Victor Troicki in four sets. He said that he was impressed with the support he received and promised that he will come back next year stronger.

Aljaz Bedene has officially become a British citizen today following a citizenship ceremony that took place in government offices in Hatfield this morning.

Aljaž to a bit short for his first ATP title

In today’s final of the ATP tournament in Chennai, Aljaž lost against Stanislas Wawrinka, a first seed and fourth on the ATP ranking. The players were close, but Stan was serving better and Aljaž was feeling a bit tired and this was enough at the end. Anyway Aljaž was very satisfied with the tournament and has already announced that he will be back next year.
