Aljaž won his 11th ATP Challenger in Todi, Italy and further confirms his current great form. The win has also brought him the career high ranking of #70.

After wining his first Wimbledon match in main draw against Radek Stepanek 6:4 in the 5th, Aljaž lost in the second round against Victor Troicki in four sets. He said that he was impressed with the support he received and promised that he will come back next year stronger.

As a preparation for the grass season Aljaž participated in Liverpool Hope University International Tennis Tournament. The tournament introduced young and established players combined with the ever popular Legends of Tennis. The tournament was a great fun for a good cause.

Aljaž has won his 10. Challenger title in his career, by winning Rome. This win takes him close to his best ATP rankings.

After becoming British citizen, Aljaž is now also officially British player in the ATP Tour.

On a very strong ATP Challenger tournament in Irving (USA), Aljaž won his 9. ATP Challenger tournament in his career. In the final he beat Tim Smyczek (USA) with 7-6(3) 3-6 6-3.

In the qualies of the ATP tournament in Zagreb Aljaž won his first match agains his friend Zemlja and then next day he did not find the right form and lost against Uladimir Ignatic.
